Le Café Music' Discover the live energy of caféMusic’ in Mont de Marsan

Since 1995, the Montoise Association for Cultural Activities (AMAC) has managed the caféMusic', in partnership with the Mont de Marsan Agglomeration. A community education association, AMAC carries out a comprehensive cultural project particularly focused on the development of contemporary music.

From the concert hall, through the meeting space, the rehearsal studios or even the premises in the Peyrouat district, a diversity of activities animates the spaces occupied by the association.
Beyond the numerous concerts offered, the Rock School 's courses provide access to music for everyone through lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, singing, choir, and even the Kids School (for children aged 6 to 8 who want to learn about instruments). Throughout the year, caféMusic' also offers exhibitions, school programs, open mic nights, artist residencies, recording sessions, and more—all activities open to everyone.

Since September 2021, the historic caféMusic' building has been undergoing rehabilitation and the work is scheduled to continue until summer 2024. However, activities continue with, in particular, a 2023/2024 season "outside the walls" thanks to the various partners of the association, local concerts "Like at Home" and the appropriation of unusual places (chapels, function rooms, circus tent, Mont-de-Marsan arenas, etc.).

CaféMusic' is part of and coordinates the XL TOUR, a departmental artistic support program, alongside Landes Musiques Amplifiées (LMA), La Locomotive, Musicalarue, the Réseau des Indépendants de la Musique (Network of Independent Music Producers), Latitude Productions, the City of Dax, and the Conservatoire des Landes (Landes Conservatory). This program is supported by the Landes Department and the DRAC Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Nouvelle-Aquitaine).
