Abbey of Sorde Open-air shows in a historic setting in Sorde-l'Abbaye

Sorde Abbey offers shows as part of its La Scène actuelle program. The performances take place in the prestigious setting of its monumental ruins.

• Sunday, April 6 [Circus Arts]: "Esacto'Lido", a strolling show with young professionals from the Toulouse Circus School . From 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - All ages - Free
• Saturday, June 7 [Storytelling]: "Storytelling Festival" with the Graine de Contes association. A wacky and poetic storytelling experience, as delicious as it is mischievous. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Ages 12 and up - Free
• Wednesday, July 16 [Silent Clown]: "Dog" with the Cie Qui s'y coller. A funny and poetic encounter between a manic, hypersensitive clown and a little dog... Co-organized with Lacaze at Les Sottises. From 9 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - All ages - Solidarity ticketing
• Wednesday, July 6 [Music]: with the group Labulkrack . Between big band and contemporary music, this formation of 16 musicians, brass, percussion and guitars, is a mixture of energy and virtuosity. From 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - All audiences - €5 / €3 reduced / free under 18s - Light refreshments on site from 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 20 [Media Comedy]: "Madame Monsieur BONSOIR! " with the AIAA Company . Humor and impertinence for this cathartic comedy that questions freedom of expression, our relationship to democracy, daily violence and the search for utopias. From 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. - From 12 years old - €5 / €3 reduced / free for under 18s - Snacks on site from 7:30 p.m.

All performances take place outdoors. In case of bad weather, performances will be held in the abbey's tithe barn (open to the cloister) / the program is subject to change (see website).
The shows scheduled at 9 p.m. are followed by a nighttime tour of the site, not to be missed!
