    • L'Auberge du Grand Menos, a traditional restaurant serving takeaway meals in Bougue

Do you like to treat yourself? You've come to the right place. Located in the countryside 8km from Mont-de-Marsan in Bougue, a small Landes village, the Auberge du Grand Menos restaurant is open 6 days a week from Monday to Sunday all year round.

This old Landes farmhouse retains all its charm with its half-timbering and its authentic fireplace, an ideal setting for lunch or dinner with your lover, friends or family. Traditional recipes made from fresh, local produce can be enjoyed in one of the two restaurant rooms, or wherever you want.

Indeed, the Auberge du Grand Menos offers a menu of takeaway meals for those who love picnics in the great outdoors, or for gourmets who love their sofa. Take a look around the boutique before leaving, a wide range of foie gras and preserves of regional products are waiting to be discovered!

Group meals can be organised at L'Auberge du Grand Megnos by prior arrangement. Please contact us directly for any requests.

Everything is great Incredible welcome Hearty, generous, delicious dishes. Foie gras and their homemade rillettes are crazy The products are homemade, from starter to dessert, they are made with quality, local products. From starter to dessert, nothing but pleasure The place is beautiful, well maintained. Everything is excellent, it’s an address that I keep for the times when I come back to replace my colleague. Accessible to people in wheelchairs and/or with reduced mobility We got there by walking from Mont de Marsan via the greenway. Very nice, I recommend for those who like to walk more than 20 kilometers. I highly recommend it is imperative for those who like to treat themselves to stopping by the inn.

We came 9 years ago and it was magnificent: the portions were generous, the quality was exceptional and we couldn't wait to come back. What was our disappointment: the 33€ menu no longer has anything to do with what we had experienced. For 3 menus: 1 slice of ham, 1 small piece of foie gras each and a small pot of rillette to share. As for the half duck breast, it looks more like a third of a small breast... menu costs 20 or even 25€ max. Not very generous with fries either, for 6, we got a small dish... While talking with the waitress, we learned that there had been a change of ownership... too bad for us. In short, we were super disappointed and we won't be going back.

Excellent food in a very nice location. A bit further but truly worse the drive both price and quality wise.
