Biscarrosse is considered the premier seaside resort in the Landes region. It's also a vacation spot for many Landes residents, who come to enjoy the gentle Landes lifestyle by the ocean. It offers numerous water-based activities at sea, as well as on the shores of its lakes. It's a lively and friendly town all year round.

2) Surfing on the beaches of Biscarrosse

Biscarrosse boasts a beautiful oceanfront location with long beaches perfect for surfing. For beginners, Plage Nord is easier to access as it's closer to the city center and offers plenty of amenities. For those who prefer adventure and wilder spots, Plage du Vivier is the place to head. Running alongside the Landes forest, it's more secluded.

3) Have fun with the family at the Biscarrosse-Lac leisure center

If you're traveling with your family, you'll find what you're looking for in Biscarrosse-Lac. To the north, there are the Étang de Cazaux and Sanguinet and their aquatic leisure centers:

• Biscarrosse AquaPark is the largest water park in the world!
• For younger children, Aquakid is reserved for children aged 4 to 10.

To the south, the Biscarrosse and Parentis lakes are also well equipped, with their rental station for pedal boats, paddleboards and other boats: Aqualoisirs.
