An architectural gem inspired by Andalusia, the Dax arenas are an unmissable and emblematic place in the Landes department.
Inaugurated in 1913, they are the largest arena in the Landes region with a capacity of 8,000 seats. They are the beating heart of the famous Dax Feria in August, attracting thousands of fans every year for its prestigious bullfights which see the biggest names in bullfighting parade through the streets.
Likewise, these arenas, of the first national category, are the vibrant theater of the spectacular Course Landaise, perpetuating a centuries-old tradition. They are also used for open-air concerts.
A visit is a must to admire their white and red architecture and feel the unique atmosphere of passion and history that reigns there.
