Chef Mathis Devaux welcomes you to his new restaurant in Rion-Des-Landes, where a warm and passionate cuisine awaits you. A fusion of modern and traditional gastronomy to help you discover or rediscover the flavors of home.

Their story 

Mathis Devaux grew up in the back kitchens of the restaurants run by his grandmother, mother and uncles. Every cell of his being is infused with fragrant juices and subtle flavors. The young chef could have been content to work for his family, to bring this culinary heritage to fruition. But he chose to break free. To be alone at the helm of an establishment that resembles him, that can reflect his soul and be the sum of his passions. 

As a child, he imbibed this knowledge by capillary action.  As a young man, he worked relentlessly for the finest houses, with the finest products. Maison Devaux is the fruit of long reflection, a desire to be more than a restaurant, an experience that appeals to all the senses.

There's an element of childhood here, with the family as its mainstay and the Landes as its refuge, the region where his father used to take him on vacation and where, with his mother-in-law, they acquired this estate that seemed made for him.

Favoring short circuits, organic products and respect for the seasons, they work with local producers. They have been carefully selected for their craftsmanship and the exceptional quality of their products.

- Sur Mesure 55€ / Mets et Vins 70€ : Reserved for walk-in customers, the chef prepares a meal according to your wishes.
