Visit Mugron

Mugron is a small town, perched and enjoying a beautiful view. Park near the church and go see the tree of liberty , planted in the ^19th century, it is majestic and right next to it a beautiful viewpoint. Take a moment to admire the landscape under its plant cover.

Mugron is easily visited on foot, you will find what you need to make a picnic and then go to the leisure center: a lake where you can swim and do water slides with the children. There is a refreshment bar in season and everything you need to spend a pleasant time with family or friends, at a very low price! The banks of the Adour also offer pretty walks.

Let's go back to the center of Mugron, to visit the city, get the heritage circuit from the Tourist Office : several stations are scattered around the city to tell you about the emblematic buildings and allow you to walk around. Are the children fed up? Suggest that they walk with the Poïz', thanks to the Tèrra Aventura treasure hunt available in Mugron : At the grape harvest, the little corks! To learn more about Mugron's wine-growing past, visit the Chai d'Antin and have fun while visiting.

Le Chai d'Antin and Rouge Garance

Built in the middle of the ^18th century by a Parisian bourgeois, this building with its remarkable and monumental framework was used at the time as a wine warehouse. Sometimes a place of worship while waiting for the church to be ready to receive the parishioners, then a house passing from hand to hand, it is today a superb store, the Rouge Garance workshop boutique, specializing in ceramics and linen. You can visit the monumental framework, with explanations from the charming and loving owners of this place, which they cherish and bring to life with beautiful exhibitions of objects and works of art. The stoneware tableware services made by Florence and René are particularly magnificent, they are unique pieces made on site.
