Réserve Naturelle d’Arjuzanx Nature Reserve in Arjuzanx

Halfway between the Landes coast and Mont-de-Marsan, the Arjuzanx Nature Reserve is located in the heart of the Landes. Within the reserve, Lake Arjuzanx and the surrounding wetlands attract many species of birds. It is also located on an important migratory route and it is the largest French wintering site for Common Cranes.
You can go around it on foot, by bike or on horseback. Swimming, fishing and water sports are allowed there. To observe the birds more closely, guided tours are organized. You are accompanied by a naturalist guide who will reveal all the secrets of the reserve to you.
