There you can visit the PréhistoSite de Brassempouy (which presents objects from archaeological excavations carried out in the Grotte du Pape) and ArchéoParc dedicated to Prehistoric techniques.

But it was above all the Middle Ages which shaped the village of Brassempouy . In fact, the very construction of the town dates from the 12th century.
