A great time at Bastignac, with kindness, quality products, and impeccable service. A touch of humor and a lot of seriousness. I'd love to eat bavette and fries this good every day. My American visitors were delighted with their first meal in the gourmet terroir of the Landes.

Excellent restaurant under the arcades of Place Royale. We had a wonderful time. The plate of semi-cooked foie gras is definitely worth the detour. The welcome was warm, and to top it all off, the weather was superb. Thank you for this wonderful time.

This wonderfully located restaurant was always full at lunchtime (so book ahead!), so we came back for drinks in the early evening instead. Warm and friendly, we relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere...

Make a reservation or show up at 12:00 sharp if you want to get a table. We saw many turned away. The food was very good- we had a hearty stew followed by melon and ham course. The busy servers were...
