The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, located in the heart of the fortified town of Labastide-d'Armagnac, is an emblematic monument of the region. This church, originally dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, was renamed Notre-Dame de l'Assomption in 1638, in honor of the vow of Louis XIII. It is a place of great historical and architectural richness, which blends harmoniously with the medieval plan of the bastide.
