For prehistory enthusiasts, this is an absolute must-see! The guides, Christophe and Clément, are very knowledgeable (scientists!). Very educational, approachable, and full of humor. They take their time to explain the site, its evolution, carving techniques, hunting, fire, etc. It's very well done! A very special mention goes to the young woman at the reception desk with whom I was able to chat: advice on purchasing magazines/books, but also fascinating discussions with her about the site, prehistory, of course, the museum, its attendance, etc. It's truly a pleasure to meet such passionate people!! All my best wishes for your continued success, keep it up! I'll come back with my child's eyes and with lots of pleasure... and questions!!

I never knew that such carvings from this period existed. Excellent tour and in a very pretty village not far from where I was staying at Marpaps.
