Testarouman Leisure Center Canoe trip down the Leyre river, accessible to all.

Canoeing is the best way to discover the river, its history, and its treasures. Beneath the alders and oaks, you'll enjoy a pristine natural environment, perfect for leisurely paddling and savoring the passing of time.

Presenting no major difficulties, the Leyre is classified as level I : accessible to all. If you wish to embark on a half-day trip, we recommend a route of approximately 5 km; for a full day, 15 km.

Through a few recommendations and tips, we would like to draw your attention to the ongoing concern we have for our natural environments: the wild Leyre River bears witness to a rich and unique natural heritage that we wish to share, and its conservation and the preservation of its integrity deserve our full attention. Any disturbance or imbalance harms the life and functioning of the river: respect the fauna and flora, approach boats carefully, and leave the banks clean.

For each descent, waterproof containers are provided for you to carry your belongings and your meal.

Life jackets in your size and paddles will be provided.
It is mandatory to know how to swim and be at least 6 years old, wearing a life jacket is mandatory.
