The PréhistoSite is made up of several spaces:

The museum traces the history of archaeological discoveries made on the prehistoric site of Brassempouy, the Pope's cave, since the 19th century.

Every day , visits suitable for children (from 6 years old) are offered, at 2 p.m. in low season and at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in summer (in addition to visits for adults)

In a green setting, the ArchéoParc de la Dame allows visitors to immerse themselves in the heart of Prehistory with:

• The size of the flint
• Lighting the fire
• Introduction to prehistoric hunting for everyone
• Prehistoric animals

Holiday Workshops!
During school holidays (Zone A) we offer workshops to learn about the gestures of our ancestors (included in the entry ticket)

Young and old alike can try their hand at painting on a cave wall recreated with natural ochres, make their own talc pearl exactly as in prehistory or even try their hand at engraving on stone with a flint tool! details on our site
