A few minutes from Dax, between the pine forest and the Pyrenees, Chalosse, with its fertile and hilly landscape, offers another face of the Landes.
Formerly made up of varied agricultural crops (vineyards, cereals, orchards, meadows), the Chalossais bocage is a land of high gastronomic tradition, renowned for its foie gras and its authentic labeled beef.
A richly furnished mansion, the garden and the sharecropping house, the cellar and its astonishing press, the vine conservatory, the working bread oven, the animals... At the Domaine de Carcher, everything evokes the agricultural and wine-growing Chalosse of the 19th century.
Equipped with a media library, a public service, a temporary exhibition room, the Chalosse Museum is a veritable conservatory of the Chalosse identity, with its beliefs, its know-how and its techniques. An authentic place, inhabited and welcoming, for the whole family, in the image of this generous, gourmet and festive land!

- From October 31, 2022 to February 28, 2023: only for groups, by appointment, Monday to Friday.
- Total closure: from December 17, 2022 to January 2, 2023.

- Reduced rate: 5.00€ for 18-25 year olds, students and disabled people.
- Reduced price: 3.00€ for young people between 6 and 17 years old.
- Family Pass: 20.00€ for 2 adults and 2 children.
- Guided tour: 2.00€ in addition to the entrance fee. By reservation.
- Free: for children under 6, from the 3rd child and job seekers.
