The Saint-Luperc Church in Gabarret is a remarkable monument that bears witness to the town's eventful history. The current building, in the neo-Romanesque style, was built in the 19th century on the ruins of an old Benedictine abbey. The latter had been destroyed in 1569 during the Wars of Religion.
From the old Romanesque church, only the portal was preserved and integrated into the new construction, which gives it a particular historical value. The church is an important heritage site for Gabarret and the region.
