La Gainerie d'Art, the workshop of passionate gilders and gainiers in the Landes

Based in Port-de-Lanne in the heart of the Kiwi Valley, 30 minutes from the Landes coast, Claude and Valérie invite you to discover their world from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm in their workshop La Gainerie d'Art. Every day, they use the material to cover objects, furniture or books, combining know-how and precision to enhance the items entrusted to them.

The sheathing which is a covering activity is completed by a work of gilding in 24 carat gold leaf, in gold on 22 carat plastic film, in imitation gold or in color marking. More than a profession, the art sheathing is a passion for Claude and Valérie who are delighted to make office items, manufacture boxes for notary furniture, leather goods accessories, fit out storage drawers... and more!
