Discover a wooden clog factory in Les Landes at Saint-Étienne-d'Orthe !
Long made entirely by hand, it was in 1930 that Georges and Pierre mechanized and increased production.
Later, in the early 1970s, Francis acquired machines that manufactured pairs.
But over time, the clog lost its appeal and a shift occurred with the development of tourism and thermal spas towards decorative uses.
True to a family tradition, Claude LABARTHE represents the 7th generation. Handcrafted clogs for everyday wear and decorative footwear. See the largest clog in Occitanie!- Open all year round by reservation, Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm;
- Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm;
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Workshop demonstrations in the afternoons from 3pm.
Group visits by appointment during the day.
