  The Landes region and its foie gras ducks share a long history. A particularly delicious history, to which the Lesgourgues family is linked. For five generations, at the Bastebieille farm, they have been raising (with whole grain corn from their own fields) and processing their ducks, combining a quest for quality with respect for tradition.
  
  The products of Ferme Bastebieille have won medals several times at the Concours Général Agricole by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Buying foie gras at the Janvry market was really bad; I won't be fooled again. I'm disappointed, especially since it was very good when we tasted it.

Good value for money. I preferred the semi-preserved foie gras, which was tastier than the canned version; however, it needs to be eaten more quickly; but is that really a problem?

Everything is homemade, comes from their own farm or their own garden, vegetables, meat, cakes.. The icecream comes from a small shepherd and the wines from very good producers. You could not find...

S'il y a des restaurants que l'on peut conseiller les yeux fermés, celui-ci est dans le top 10!! C'est BON, c'est local, c'est super copieux, rien que la salade (voyez la photo) est déjà très bien...
