Museum space and Archaeological activity park :
During a guided tour, in a building with an unusual architecture, discover the history of the Pope’s cave and the life of the men who succeeded each other during a hunting stop. Thanks to authentic vestiges, come into contact with the Cro-Magnon man, his tools, his works of art and the animals that surrounded him in the Upper Paleolithic (-36,000 ; –10,000). Prehistoric art will of course be at the center of the visit to PréhistoSite. The archaeological site of Brassempouy has indeed delivered Magdalenian ornaments and engravings, and above all the largest French collection of prehistoric statuettes discovered on the same site. Among them, the Mona Lisa of Prehistory, the Lady of Brassempouy, considered as one of the jewels of prehistoric art. Come listen to his story…
