Réserve Taïno Prestige and charming accommodation in Arjuzanx

Our loft sheepfold is lovingly leaned against the forest, it touches the Arjuzanx Nature Reserve. Living like this in the middle of nature is a gift.

In the early morning, the deer family that lives behind the house leaves the place to go into the woods. During the winter, it is at sunrise that the cranes leave the lakes at the end of our airial to go and eat in the fields. They will return at the end of the day, their bellies gilded by the setting sun, passing level with the tops of the trees which border the sheepfold. For an hour the show is unforgettable.

From spring nature explodes in flowers and leaves of a soft green and the house offers its large bay windows to live inside/outside. When it is still too cool, you can enjoy the view of nature by being snuggled up near the fireplace. Then the sun warming the surroundings, we leave the sheepfold to discover the 1000 hectares of the National Reserve of Arjuzanx.

In summer, you no longer know where to land in this magical space that allows any traveler to continue traveling even after they have put their bag in the sheepfold.

We go swimming in the lake where the sandy accesses lead to transparent and uncrowded water, we go back to lunch in the airial, by the pool at the tiki bar where you can have a plancha. Afterwards you will have to choose, continue to walk, explore the region, join the sea at Contis plage to do a little surfing but come back at the end of the day to enjoy the golden lights of the forest, have an aperitif by the pool, take a hot shower in the bamboo, take a sauna…

Then at night after enjoying nature again in front of a small brazier to continue admiring the starry sky, we will return to see a film thanks to the home cinema of the sheepfold.

A last glance at the stars through the window before plunging into the impressive silence of the Taïno Reserve while listening to the song of the frogs, the hoots of the tawny owls and the crickets.

Come and live in a loft sheepfold with huge openings overlooking the forest and the park of our Taïno Reserve.

The open kitchen, fully equipped for gourmets who like to cook, overlooks a dining area with a 2.40m table and a living room with atypical volumes, the fireplace is central and its hearth is glazed on two sides.

A professional home cinema allows you to enjoy good films while being snuggled up on a large corner sofa (possibly convertible).
3 double bedrooms and a bathroom with walk-in shower.

In one of the bedrooms you have a king size bed 180x200 or two 90 cm beds. In the second bedroom also overlooking the park and in the distance the swimming pool, you have a double bed 140x200.

On the mezzanine, glazed with curtains and blinds, a love nest bedroom with a 140 bed which is accessed by a spiral staircase. It has a skylight overlooking the stars and the passage of cranes when it is the season.

On the other part of the mezzanine open to the attic volumes of the sheepfold, a workspace with desk, small library and hammock also with a skylight. This sheepfold dating from 1868 has just been renovated in a traditional and ecological way and benefits from a quadruple exposure which makes it bright and rich in multiple views, on the park of the estate, on the swimming pool and its tiki bar, on the poetic vegetable garden, on the more mysterious forest. It is not uncommon to see deer, foxes or rabbits in the early morning. On the other hand, the domain is fenced and wild boars do not enter it.

A few steps from the sheepfold, by the pool you can decide to take a hot shower in the bamboos in the middle of nature, or have a sauna or dine at the TIKI Bar and its summer kitchen.

You can have your breakfast, lunch or dinner under the trees at the back of the sheepfold or on one of its private terraces.

We put at your disposal on your arrival, coffee, tea, organic infusions, soaps, shampoos, organic shower gels as well as linen sets for the beds and soft towels.
