Domaine d'Uza, a haven for gourmets and an enchanting escape for a stay in the countryside
The village of Uza is located in the Born region, between Lévignacq and Saint-Julien-en-Born, in the heart of the Landes forest and close to Contis and the Atlantic Ocean.
Since 1472, the Lur Saluces family has maintained, from generation to generation, a great affection for this haven of peace.
From Uza to Contis, the estate has restored several traditional Landes houses, transforming them into charming holiday cottages. These cottages are equipped to provide modern comforts, both summer and winter, while blending into the Landes environment and preserving the old-world charm of the Landes farms and resin tappers' houses.
In the restoration of these houses, only the highest quality materials, natural or locally sourced, were selected. The interior design was entrusted to a decorator, in order to give these accommodations even more character, blending the charm of the old with the comfort of the modern.
