- On the borders of the Landes, the Basque Country and Béarn, in the heart of the charming fortified town of Hastingues, our guest house L'écrin des Gaves enjoys a splendid panorama over the river Les Gaves Réunis and the green plains producing kiwis.
  
  This 17th century house surrounded by richly wooded gardens is the perfect place to meet, recharge, discover and share. The four beautiful bedrooms offer a most comfortable space as well as an atmosphere that is both chic and warm. Guests have access to the infinity pool, a small outbuilding suitable for a yoga or meditation session as well as the library. The table d'hôtes welcomes its guests for breakfast and dinner around a large table in the dining room or on the terrace, either of which offers a panoramic view of the river.
  
  It is also the ideal starting point for strolling along the Val d'Adour Maritime, a scenic road along the banks of the Gaves then the Adour to Bayonne which we reach in 35 minutes. The beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Argent, Seignosse, Hossegor, Ondres, are 50 minutes away, and the hiking trails in the Pyrenees, Mont Baïgura, La Rhune, the Gorges de Kakuetta, the ridges of Iparla, are located about 1h30 from Hastingues.

Warm welcome, calm, authenticity. Breakfast with organic products, homemade jams and extra bread. Sabrina and Claude have revived this house which has a beautiful soul. The renovation is perfect, mixing the old and the modern. I highly recommend.

Very nice break with Sabrina and Claude who gave us a very warm welcome in their pretty house. The table d’hôtes is excellent as well as the breakfasts. Hosts at your service. Very happy with our stay in this very beautiful place, nicely decorated by Sabrina. Thank you both

Free stay at l'érin des gaves in Hastingues. Magnificent in every way: well-restored house, tastefully furnished and extremely refined setting, attention to detail in the smallest aspects, friendly hosts, very tasty Landes cuisine with excellent products: champagne as an aperitif, raw salmon terrine and of avocados with a very fresh herb sauce. Duck breasts, pan-fried foie gras with roasted vegetables, very well cooked and hearty. Very chocolatey chocolate cake and very good artisanal vanilla ice cream. The location is ideal in a pretty bastide allowing you to visit the lands on the banks of the Gaves d'Oloron and Pau and the Adour, the two abbeys of Sordes and Arthous... A timeless break and a change of scenery for us who are still neighbors! Thank you to our hosts for these delicious moments! We highly recommend.
