On the borders of the Landes, the Basque Country and Béarn, in the heart of the charming fortified town of Hastingues, our guest house L'écrin des Gaves enjoys a splendid panorama over the river Les Gaves Réunis and the green plains producing kiwis.
This 17th century house surrounded by richly wooded gardens is the perfect place to meet, recharge, discover and share. The four beautiful bedrooms offer a most comfortable space as well as an atmosphere that is both chic and warm. Guests have access to the infinity pool, a small outbuilding suitable for a yoga or meditation session as well as the library. The table d'hôtes welcomes its guests for breakfast and dinner around a large table in the dining room or on the terrace, either of which offers a panoramic view of the river.
It is also the ideal starting point for strolling along the Val d'Adour Maritime, a scenic road along the banks of the Gaves then the Adour to Bayonne which we reach in 35 minutes. The beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Argent, Seignosse, Hossegor, Ondres, are 50 minutes away, and the hiking trails in the Pyrenees, Mont Baïgura, La Rhune, the Gorges de Kakuetta, the ridges of Iparla, are located about 1h30 from Hastingues.
