    • Long live the holidays!
During the holidays, visits-workshops are offered to the youngest for an active and fun discovery of the Domaine de Carcher and life in the 19th century. Through an adapted and participative mediation, the children better perceive the way of life and the gestures of the past in Chalosse.

      Bricks in stock
A house of yesteryear, that's for a few things... but for a long time. With your hands, learn to make a brick like the little Chalossais of the 19th century. You can check the solidity of the adobes by visiting a house in the museum.
      From 3 years old.
      Tuesdays 19 and 26 April - 12, 19 and 26 July – 2, 9, 16 and 23 August – 25 October, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

      your bread dough
Plunge your hands into the bread dough to discover life before. Then, continue the adventure in the past by visiting the sharecroppers' house. Before leaving, get your hot bun!
      From 6 years old.
      Wednesdays 20 and 27 April - 13, 20 and 27 July – 3, 10, 17 and 24 August – 26 October, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

      Lead balls
Before visiting the museum, you begin your journey through time by rolling your marbles like the pitchouns of the 19th century. Child's play not so easy!
      From 6 years old.
      Thursdays 21 and 28 April - 21 July – 4, 11, 18 and 25 August – 27 October, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Very nice museum. Well documented. It is possible to devote several hours to it without getting tired of it. Don't forget the Deboreha Lange temporary exhibition.

Very interesting and pleasant visit. Very good documentation, very accessible in each building. The life of sharecroppers is well described thanks to the videos projected and the scenarios presented throughout the course. The welcome is perfect, smiling. We also really enjoyed the temporary photographic exhibition. Do not hesitate to discover this museum which also offers a lovely panorama of Chalosse.
