  I booked the pond cabin to surprise my partner. Laure's directions were crystal clear, and the place is magical. A true escape, a warm Nordic bath upon arrival, our optional barbecue in the fridge, and breakfast discreetly delivered to our door. We were very pleasantly surprised by this place, where relaxation, disconnection, and reconnection were all on the agenda. P.S.: We loved the little card games that helped us reflect on questions we don't usually think to ask ourselves. Just 35 minutes from Biarritz, this is a place we'll definitely keep in mind for our getaways.

  I prefer to start with the positive aspects of our stay. We had a delightful break at La Cabane de l’Étang, in a charming and rejuvenating setting. The cabin is decorated with great taste and authenticity, with a truly rustic feel. The bedding is very comfortable. We also indulged in brunch to take advantage of a late departure, and we weren't disappointed: it was generous, delicious, and made with high-quality ingredients. However, we were disappointed by the noise. From 9:45 a.m., a chainsaw, followed by sound and microphone tests (certainly in preparation for an event), punctuated our entire morning until our departure. It's a shame, because we chose this place for its tranquility, and we ultimately weren't able to enjoy our late departure as planned. We were also a little disappointed by the lack of privacy. Between the various people passing near the cabin and the traffic during the morning, we didn't feel as secluded as we had hoped. For accommodation with an outdoor shower and a bathtub, we expected more peace and quiet. On the other hand, the host is very friendly, responsive, and available, which is truly appreciated. So, it was a mixed experience: the place has many qualities, but the peace and privacy, which are essential for us in this type of accommodation, were unfortunately lacking.

  An unusual place filled with tranquility and serenity. The Nordic bath is a real bonus during your stay. The decor is tasteful and perfectly suits the cozy atmosphere.
