  It promises a luxurious experience immersed in nature, a promise it only partially fulfills. While the location is undeniably privileged, nestled amidst a vast pine forest and beside the lake, the lack of hygiene at the campsite is so appalling that it completely ruins the stay. The campsite boasts an enviable location for a family vacation. Just opposite, across a small road, lies a typical lakeside beach: a sandy shore with calm, shallow waters. It's an ideal spot for young children, as the water is deep enough to touch the bottom in almost the entire swimming area, eliminating the risk of drowning and allowing for safe play. Furthermore, its proximity to Biscarrosse provides easy access to services and shops. Finally, the region's main attraction, the Dune of Pilat, is a short drive away, making a trip to admire the scenery a must. The Big Disappointment: Poor Cleanliness. The major drawback, and the reason the experience is so awful, is the lack of cleanliness. It is deplorable that a campsite that promotes itself as luxury or high-end allows such a serious deficiency in the hygiene of its accommodations. The most outrageous aspect was the state of the mattresses: the mattress protectors showed traces of bodily fluids. This situation is extremely serious and shows a complete lack of respect for the customer. We suspect that those who purchase the sheet package provided by the campsite probably didn't even notice this scandalous detail. Once this serious problem was acknowledged, the rest of the filth became secondary, although no less evident: the presence of cobwebs and live spiders on lamps, ceilings, and in corners. While it's understandable that one is in the middle of the forest and expects a certain presence of wildlife and insects, the amount of dust accumulated on these cobwebs demonstrates that a thorough cleaning had been neglected for a long time. The limescale on the shower screen, etc... It has all the ingredients to be an exceptional place: nature, safe bathrooms for children, and proximity to tourist attractions. However, the cleanliness is unacceptable, especially in an establishment that prides itself on being luxurious. It's a shame that such a privileged setting is marred by such a basic and serious hygiene problem. The experience was completely ruined by the dirt. Furthermore, the parking lot pavement is deteriorated in places, rendering several spaces unusable. You have to be extremely careful not to accidentally roll your car. They have two playgrounds, a paddle tennis court, basketball court, tennis court, and an animal area. They have a goat, a rabbit, a guinea pig... The children enjoy walking around and watching them. It's a shame that all of this is marred by the organic residue on the toilet paper covers... I've attached photos.

  We just finished our stay and are leaving with so many wonderful memories! We were two families staying side-by-side in cabins near the Slow Farm and the tennis courts. It was peaceful, and the weather allowed us to enjoy the terrace and the surrounding area, of course, including Biarritz, the Dune du Pilat, the beaches of Biscarrosse (where we even had a surf session!), and Arcachon... We explored everything by bike, as the location is perfect for cycling! The cabins are lovely, with air conditioning and heating, and the beds are fantastic! The staff is amazing, attentive to our every need, and as a bonus this morning on our departure, they even offered us a pastry! We were there to close the village!   We had a wonderful stay; the setting is magnificent, nestled between the pine trees and the lake. The staff is very friendly and pet-friendly. We'll definitely be back!
