the Departmental Museum of Earthenware and Tableware has joined the MomART charter. Games (treasure hunts, coloring) are available to families.

FAMILY WORKSHOPS: During the school holidays, our little visitors and "future potters" are invited to take part in artistic practice workshops.

Sharing moments of creativity, experimenting with modeling clay, expressing your talent by painting on a plate using 18th century techniques will allow the whole family to create unforgettable memories and rediscover a certain zen.

• April 19 - 3:00 p.m. Earth workshop with the clay chicken (from 6 years old) - 10 places available
• 22 April 3:00 pm - special children's workshop (from 7 years old) "When do we eat?" - 10 places available

After discovering the museum and the installation "Le Grand Feu (joyeux A)" by Coline Gaulot, the children are invited to discover porcelain with the artist. She will share with them her passion for "catches" which are fruits, vegetables, eggs, created in trompe-l'œil and which are used to entertain the guests before the meal begins: fake food put on the plates to to laugh ! By modeling, the child will make his favorite porcelain dishes. The works will then be fired and enamelled by the artist.

June 4 at 3:00 p.m. Family workshop “It doesn’t touch the ground”

Alexia Chevrollier, visual artist, questions the rules and standards inherited from classical sculpture with the workshop "It doesn't touch the ground!": "A sculpture must be presented on a base!" ; "A sculpture must be solid!" ; "A sculpture is eternal!". The artist invites participants to have fun deconstructing these assertions by working on a volume in raw earth, after discovering the techniques and gestures used by contemporary artists, then thinking about the presentation of their creations in the space.

During school holidays, family workshops are scheduled from July 12 to August 16 every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
