Plage du Courant Mimizan Les Landes Beaches in Mimizan

It is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Landes, it is located at the mouth between the ocean and the coastal river Le Courant de Mimizan, which serves as a spillway for the waters of Lake Aureilhan. You will sometimes see fishermen fishing with pibale, a small transparent eel (also called glass eel), whose fishing is very regulated to protect the populations.
