  We came 9 years ago and it was magnificent: the portions were generous, the quality was exceptional and we couldn't wait to come back. What was our disappointment: the 33€ menu no longer has anything to do with what we had experienced. For 3 menus: 1 slice of ham, 1 small piece of foie gras each and a small pot of rillette to share. As for the half duck breast, it looks more like a third of a small breast... menu costs 20 or even 25€ max. Not very generous with fries either, for 6, we got a small dish... While talking with the waitress, we learned that there had been a change of ownership... too bad for us. In short, we were super disappointed and we won't be going back. In response to the restaurateur's comment: we told the waitress that the portions were ridiculously small and she told us that it was good "for 3" so we ordered 1 extra duck breast. And it was the waitress/owner herself who told us when paying that she and her husband had taken over this restaurant and that before they were from Paris... so maybe we came there ago 11 years, I admit not having noted the last time we were there but what is certain is that it is day and night both in terms of quality and quantity.

  But what a surprise!!!! We are delighted with this restaurant! I just have one word: excellent!!! I took the menu for 27 euros with a garbure as a starter which was delicious and very filling, then the duck leg confit with fries cooked in duck fat (a treat!) and a homemade chocolate mousse for dessert (yum yum). I know where to eat now when I come to Mont de Marsan. Be careful, however, to book in advance because this restaurant is in high demand because it's so good! Good luck and above all don't change!
