Whether you are a beginner who has never surfed before, or an experienced surfer looking to improve your technique, our range of surf courses is suitable for all levels. Maximum 4 people per surf instructor for better quality (and safety) of your surf lesson.
  
  Mimizan Plage is the ideal location to learn to surf, with its beautiful sandy beaches and gentle waves perfect for beginners. You will quickly become familiar with surfing and experience the thrill of gliding on the waves. Moreover, Pura Vida Lodge offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can relax after a day of surfing, make new friends and enjoy the surf culture.
  
  But our experience offers more than just surfing! We also combine Yoga in our programmes to keep your body and mind balanced during your holiday. Our Yoga classes are designed to help you relax, stretch and center yourself after an action-packed day on the water.

Pura Vida Lodge is a magical place. I was there for a week and enjoyed the time very much. There is a family atmosphere and the whole crew is very friendly, warm and concerned that the guests are feeling well. The surf instructors and also the yoga instructor do a very good job. The breakfast is super tasty and the garden is a lovely place to chill after the surf lessons. I can only recommend the lodge!!!!

We had such an amazing experience in the Pura Vida Lodge. Everyone is super friendly and supportive. After the surf lessons, you can still use the board, so you're pretty independent and can chill at the beach and go for some waves whenever you feel like. Wanna learn surfskate or enjoy some SUP? - go for it here! I'll definitely come back!

Would highly recommend a stay at Pura Vida. It is clear a lot of love and attention goes into this camp, from the decor and details to the people who work there. The camp has an overall great vibe, lovely space to relax and close to the attractions of Mimizan. They provide use of not only surf kit, but essentials for yoga practice, skating, and your own bike. It's a great space for like minded individuals to meet and enjoy lots of activities. Your schedule can be as jammed packed or as restful as you like, many choices and things to get involved in. The team were welcoming and provided everything you could need for a great staay. I have no doubt I will visit again
