  What a lovely find. Needed a place to stop over on way to Spain and found this gem. Lovely and secluded which was good for the vehicle. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms fantastic and shower awesome. Certainly a place to stay more than one night especially with the facilities. Would certainly recommend

  Nos parents ont pu profiter d'une nuit au calme dans le superbe Domaine de l'Esperon. Les chambres sont très propres, agréables, le parc aspire à la quiétude. L'accueil est excellent. Nous recommandons vivement

  When I arrived a week ago it was 5 stars. A magical, magnificent, and calm place. A building from the 1800s, I think, and a superb park and forest all around this tastefully restored building. An incredibly dense fauna, in one week I was able to observe: tits, robins, ravens, blackbirds, black woodpeckers, woodpeckers, pheasants, black and yellow salamanders, deer at the edge of the woods every morning, squirrels to observe all day. Conversations of owls or owls, whose wings we can hear rustling at night. A paradise of unspoiled beauty 8 minutes from Dax. For 4 days, huge machines have been tearing up oak trees, some of which are century-old, ash trees, plane trees and all the flora without care at incredible speed. All these killed trees, very much alive and sheltering all this wonderful wildlife!! I learned from two disgruntled gentlemen looking at this carnage, that they had sold the forest all around the building to make: A GOLF GOLF!!!!!!!!! What a shame...........the sequel was censored so............... If money were needed to maintain this place, there are rich people with intelligence of heart. they could have looked for patrons, worked with environmental protection associations, offered educational programs for children and adults, made observation points for all this wildlife, while respecting the environment. Propose a census of the species living here, make this place a heritage of humanity on its own level!! No more does. no more squirrel families, no more nesting of already endangered species, no more park or forest, no there will be a very green, very clean, well-mown place with natural grass, I am told.. .... I went to ask forgiveness from the spirit of these dead trees as well as those that will be uprooted today I hope that those responsible will look their conscience in the face.
