  The Hôtel (and restaurant) is a traditional, unpretentious, hotel run by a wonderful couple Marina and Wilfried. They offer a warm welcome and despite us arriving late (car had broken down on A63) importantly after the kitchen had closed, still offered us delicious regional cooking. Wilfried is the genius in the kitchen, all the items from the menu were simply delicious and would cost at least double in a London restaurant. The hotel itself is a 10 minute drive off the motorway exit and ideally located for exploring the beautiful countryside or simply stopping on the way to or from Spain. But I'd encourage you to linger, it is a simply beautiful part of the world. Marina mentioned she'd worked in Ireland and also London and I can see why she returned. Lesperon is a haven of peace, tranquility is close to stunning countryside and just over 20 minutes from the beach at Cap-de-l'Homy. Helpful to know the hotel provides free wifi that works without you having to pass over email contact details etc. and it has ample parking. The closest station is Morcenx about an hour from Bordeaux.

  I stayed with my dogs and a friend enroute to Spain. Charming little village location just 5 minutes from the motorway. It is a quirky old hotel and has its charm, which will not appeal to all, Inside the public rooms are great with bags of history. The bedroom was room clean and comfortable, a good size with 2 double beds, with everything you need. there is a small bar over the road from the hotel that is nice for a beer and a chill after a long drive. We had our meals in the hotel, the dinner, a la carte was great and a nice bottle of house wine, breakfast buffet had all you would need, only gripe was the breakfast room which is a bit dark, but it is a really nice charming room. The lady owner was so very helpful and friendly. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.

  Exceptional cuisine and an absolutely perfect gourmet experience, mastered by the local chef and the traditional French ambience of the restaurant. If you are around stop there! We recommend making reservations in advance, it's often busy :-)
