Canoeing appears to be the best way to discover the river, its history and its riches. Under the alders and the oaks, you will take advantage of a preserved natural environment to stroll and take advantage of the passing time.
Not presenting any major difficulty, the Leyre is classified level I: accessible to all public. If you wish to embark for half a day, we advise you to make a journey of approximately 5 km, for a full day 15 km.
Through some recommendations and advice, we will draw your attention to the permanent concern that we bring to our natural environments: the Leyre wild river testifies to a rich and original natural heritage that we wish to share, its conservation and the preservation of its integrity deserve all our attention. For each descent, watertight cans are available to transport your belongings and your meal.
Vests with your size will be loaned to you as well as paddles.
You must be able to swim and be at least 6 years old, wearing a life jacket is compulsory.
