  I'd like to give this a better review because the woman on reception was very helpful and spoke good English. However, whilst there were a lot of people on the site everything except the toilet blocks were closed (snack bar, swimming pool....). Instead of using an area of pitches we were spread all over the site and it looked like not many people were there. The grass (well, spiky bits of grass all over) needed cutting as did all the hedges. It was cheap for the night but I felt the management had given up for the season. The toilet block was clean and had everything we needed. Quite why the elsan was right next to the washing up sinks! Good place for one night out of season.

  Nice spacious camping. Small pool for young children. Petanque fields. Facilities are basic and could be a bit cleaner. Best is in the morning. Washing machines available for a fee (5 Euro coins at the time if writing. Paintball around the corner. 15 min car drive to the closest beach.

  We spent a week in the campsite in a mobile home and it was very enjoyable, the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and the prices are very competitive. Recommended. Location is very good and is close to the sea and all the amenities in Mimizan.
